Nick Rogers began as a high level basketball player. He later became an Indiana All-Star and had the honor of playing for his state against Kentucky at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. He attended Southern Illinois University, but suffered a knee injury and his career was cut short. It was at this moment that education became his main focus, he was going to pursue coaching.
